Elizabeth Kezia is an Indonesian-born and raised artist and photographer. Her creative works initially proliferated from music, later on discovered new media art during her time at the School of Creative Media, Hong Kong. Stemming from the frustration of information overload, the work articulates Kezia's act of rebellion, altogether irking, provoking, tickling its audience with metacognitive thoughts. While those who nonchalantly scroll over the image may be aesthetically satisfied temporarily, those who thoroughly reads the image shall be relieved of their thirst for meaning. A firm believer in 'specialist in being a generalist, she stands by the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Thus leading to a quest for knowledge expansion, the recent one being computer programming, which naturally galvanized control down to every single pixel. Through her works, she constantly learns and shares her findings about the ontology of matters and the deconstruction of media.
